The Obex Backcountry SPIN is designed for enhanced traceability and durability. Stealing the award winning Obex design, the Backcountry SPIN is equipped with an NFC medical ID chip, RECCO, and Aramid panels. POC's approach to this helmet was all inclusive. AVID panels on the top make the helmet easy to see while the NFC chip allows first responders to get the information they need in order to make the best judgement for treatment in vital situations. But, all these safety features would be useless if the helmet wasn't comfortable - luckily, that is not the case. The Obex whole helmet fit system allows you to dial in the perfect fit without fussing with extra padding. The Obex Backcountry SPIN is sure to be your ultimate sending buddy.

How to Return an Item
- Option 1: Bring the item to our store in Golden, Colorado for a full refund
- Option 2: Use a printable FedEx return label provided by Powder7:
- You are responsible for handing the package off at your local FedEx Office
- We do not provide return labels for any carrier other than FedEx
Returning New Items
- When the return is processed, you will receive a full refund minus $10 to cover the cost of the return label provided by Powder7.
- Please notify us within 30 days of receiving the new item if you would like to return it.
- Items may only be returned in their original new condition, including all packaging, tags, and accessories.
- All items are to be sent back in a protective box to prevent damage during shipping.
- Returned items that arrive used, damaged, marked, or without all original packaging, tags, etc., will be refused and sent back to you.
- Once a pair of new skis has been mounted, it cannot be returned.
Returning New Ski Boots
- Please notify us within 30 days of receiving your new boots if you would like to return them.
- Ski boots may only be returned exactly as they were when we sent them to you, with all original packaging, tags, and accessories.
- Boots must be returned inside their original undamaged boot box within a shipping box.
- Any returned boots that arrive used, damaged, or marked—or without the original box and a shipping box—will be refused and sent back to you.
- We recommend trying on your new boots indoors to make sure they fit before you go outside.
Returning Demo Skis and Other Used Gear
- When the return is processed, you will receive a full refund.
- Please notify us within 7 days of receiving the item that you would like to return it.
- Once you ski on a pair of demo skis they cannot be returned.
- Once you use other used gear it cannot be returned

- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
- We're happy to send extra pictures or talk with you about products in detail before we ship them to ensure you're purchasing a product that is best for you

Manufacturing Defects
We work with the best manufacturers in the winter sports industry, but occasionally defects do occur. If you think your product has a manufacturing defect please contact us. We'll work with the manufacturer to determine if their warranty covers the damage. Determining if the issue is a manufacturing defect is solely up to the manufacturer, not Powder7. Please note, this process can take several weeks and we will keep you updated as we correspond with the manufacturer.
